Athlete NIL Playbook
Three roles, one clear loop: adult organizer launches the campaign, athlete practices a short approved script, supporter orders online. Adults own safety, payouts, and shipping.
Core campaign rules: no pay-for-play compensation, no recruiting inducements, no school logos/IP without permission, and no implied payout certainty language.
Adult-managed + compliant playbook path
Copy and scripts stay in compliance posture on every step.
- Evidence framing: Use only aggregate training outcomes and internal logs. Do not present individual campaign moments as outcome proof of earnings, growth, or required results.
- Athlete disclosures: Every sample script includes affiliate/material-connection language before any ask, on each format.
- Testimonial boundaries: Use examples and outcomes only in aggregate with opt-in permission and clear context. Do not use single-athlete results as proof.
- Money rules: Organizer handles payout setup, payout eligibility, refunds, and payout timing. No direct child payout handling.
- Eligibility: Confirm athlete eligibility and state compliance checks before launch and before school-linked script use.
- Claims: No language implying automatic payouts, no tax, no medical, no replacement, and no scholarship-reward language in athlete scripts.
- Safeguards: No school logos, no direct child payout handling, no child bank details or payment collection.
- Attribution: Supporter purchases route to tracked links with separate platform fee and refund treatment.
- Recordkeeping: Keep script versions, approvals, eligibility evidence, and payout-cap notes available for organizer/legal review.

- Accept “no” without pressure
- Thank the supporter and move on
