Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026 (cookies & regional rights). Applies to odrcntrl.com (this site).
Summary
This site promotes a cosmetic odor-care product. We may collect a small amount of information to run the site, measure interest (analytics), and send optional launch updates if you join the email list. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Waitlist / email signup (optional): If you submit the form, we collect your email address and, if you check the box, your interest in early-bird pricing. Submissions are processed by our server and may be stored with our email provider (Resend) as a contact for launch-related messages. A hidden honeypot field is discarded and not stored.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag) to understand traffic and page use. GA may set cookies or use similar technologies; see Google’s description of how it uses data.
- Technical data: Like most sites, hosting (e.g. Vercel) and analytics may log IP address, user agent, and request metadata for security and operations.
How we use information
- To respond to waitlist signups and send product or launch updates you requested.
- To measure site performance and improve content.
- To protect the site from abuse and comply with law when required.
Sharing
We use service providers to host the site, send email (when configured), and run analytics. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies in line with this policy. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. Local storage can hold small amounts of data in the browser. This section summarizes what we use on this marketing site.
Categories
- Strictly necessary / operations: Our host (for example Vercel) may set cookies or use session mechanisms needed to deliver pages securely and reliably. You cannot turn these off without breaking basic access.
-
Analytics (optional to you via browser controls): We use
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand traffic and page engagement. Google may set
cookies such as
_gaand related identifiers, and may read information associated with your browser or device. See How Google uses cookies and Google’s use of data from sites that use its services. - Marketing / advertising cookies: We do not run third-party ad pixels on this site for retargeting. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, seek consent before loading those tags.
Your controls
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies; see your browser’s help documentation.
- Google Analytics: Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of GA in supported browsers — Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Do Not Track: we do not respond to DNT signals in a standardized way; use the options above.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, analytics cookies often require consent before non-essential use; we provide transparency here and encourage use of browser controls or the opt-out tools above. Counsel can help you implement a consent banner or Google Consent Mode if you need stricter EU/UK alignment.
Retention
We keep contact and signup data only as long as needed for launch communications and legal obligations, unless you ask us to delete your contact record (see Contact).
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any launch email, or contact us below.
- Analytics: use browser controls, ad/analytics blockers, or Google’s GA opt-out tools.
- California residents: you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; contact us to exercise applicable rights.
United States (California and other states)
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not knowingly “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in the CPRA in a way that would require a “Do Not Sell or Share” link for this site’s current practices; if our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required controls.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may grant rights such as access, deletion, or opt-out of certain processing. Contact us using the information below and we will respond in line with applicable law.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our processing of personal data may be subject to the GDPR or UK GDPR. Depending on context, we may rely on consent (for example, marketing email you opt into), contract or pre-contract steps, legitimate interests (for example site security and understanding aggregate traffic), or legal obligation.
You may have the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data;
- Rectify inaccurate data;
- Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”) in certain cases;
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Data portability where applicable;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also contact our processors (for example, your email provider’s tools for marketing messages) where they offer self-service.
International visitors
The site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change; continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests regarding this site, contact the operator of ODR CNTRL at the support email published on the live campaign or product materials, or through your email provider’s reply path if you received mail from us.
This policy is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice; have qualified counsel review practices that apply to your business.
