Disclosure guide

Make relationship obvious before endorsement lands.

Disclosure belongs where people will notice and understand it. Use plain language for paid, gifted, or commissioned relationships. Repeat disclosure on every post, story, video, email, and live segment.

Place early

Put disclosure before or with endorsement—not after “more,” at bottom of caption, or behind profile link.

Example: “Paid partnership with ODR CNTRL.”

Name benefit

Say when product was gifted or when qualifying purchases may generate compensation.

Example: “ODR CNTRL gifted this product and I may earn from qualifying purchases.”

Match format

Use visible on-screen disclosure for video and spoken disclosure when audio carries endorsement. Keep text readable long enough to notice.

Keep platform tools

Use platform paid-partnership labels when available, plus plain-language disclosure when label alone may not explain relationship.

Questions or unusual placements need review before publishing.
